Derrick Barton, Chief Talent Leader/CEO of Center for Talent Retention, to be opening keynote presenter at the Talent Retention Conference in Goa, India
Denver, Colo. – Derrick Barton, Chief Talent Leader and CEO of The Center for Talent Retention, the leading experts on taking action to engage and retain employees, will be the opening keynote presenter at the Talent Retention Conference offered by the Goa Institute of Management, August 11.
This is the first ever national conference in India focused on talent retention. Barton will present the 90-minute program “Engage and Retain Talent Best Practices.”
“One of the biggest issues facing businesses in India is retaining employees,” explains Barton. “Recognizing this business issue, Goa Institute of Management is bringing some of the best thought leaders together to understand and share examples of what really works to engage and retain employees.”
Participants will learn how to take action on engaging and retaining talent to change the reality of their workplace. In addition, Barton will help Indian business leaders understand the organization maturity levels associated with retaining talent, measure the bottom line impact of engaging and retaining talent, learn how to “crack the talent code” to increase operating performance and keep their best employees, and see the vital role managers play in impacting employee engagement and retention.
Barton says business issues in India are evolving rapidly. “Indian firms and US companies with Indian operations are facing high turnover rates. Not only is it imperative that they retain this talent, but global competition dictates that all of their employees – not just the top talent – are engaged and contributing to their full potential. This doesn’t just happen by chance. Those that succeed have a plan and tools in place to engage and retain talent.” he says.
